Suzuki Aoba, a gloomy, social outcast, is satisfied with his Highschool life though he occasionally gets beaten up by his classmate Iwase Sannosuke in “play-fights”. One day, Aoba is saved from a “play-fight” by none other than Akasawa Kenshin, a boy from the class next door and the rising rookie superstar sensation of the MMA world. However, Kenshin wonders aloud if Aoba feels empty when Aoba states that he doesn’t have a dream, which Aoba doesn’t react to kindly. He vows to land one punch on Kenshin in the future. Aobas joins the Shark Gym lead by the sloppy Kanenari Tokiwa to achieve his dream of besting Kenshin.
